A beautiful painting in words.

All the lives we don't live in contrast to the life our choices and circumstances have manifested in this moment makes me feel a frightened awe akin to when considering the infinity of space.

Well said! I couldn't agree more. I often forget just how infinite the universe of possibilities are. There is both a haunting and re-assuring beauty to it all. Such is the duality of existence I suppose!

What fabulous prose... I’m reminded of a line from a kid’s film/book that I’ve always loved - The Last Unicorn - when the unicorn says ‘we do not have regrets, only sorrows...’ for me this shows the acceptance of choice no matter the consequences.
